Reviving the wristwatch

The Ceres C01 is a single-handed watch that is changing the way we tell time.

The single-handed design forces the wearer to focus on the hours of the day rather than on the minutes and seconds, as one typically does when reading a digital clock. By focusing on the hours, reading the time becomes more natural; the large hour-hand passes smoothly and gradually and approximates the natural passage of time.  The design can serve as antidote to the often oppressive immediacy of the digital clock.
